The Role

Teams
We have multiple teams in our Newport Beach corporate offices, divided by product expertise. Depending on product size and complexity, teams can be two to six members, though typically, we have three programmers, and one QA tester on each team. While teams do shift at times, they typically stay intact for a year or two, working together on multiple releases. Release cycles generally last one to two quarters.

Development works in tandem with the Product Management Group, which is responsible for requirements gathering and product analysis. Development, testing and approval will move between the two groups and you'll participate in daily stand-ups and manage workflow broken into one or two-week segments, or sprints. Our environment is well established, providing strong workflow and clear objectives

Role Details
Depending upon your particular skill, best fit, and our need, you will be assigned to one of our existing development teams and work with the team members on projects that include fixing bugs, adding new features, building new infrastructure components, and occasionally, entirely new modules and products. We anticipate approximately a 70/30 split between existing products and maintenance and new product development

The majority of the work in our shop is back-end work, though we do have a small amount of User interface development. In addition to programming at a high level of productivity, as Full Stack Developer, you will be expected to participate in other activities including code reviews, documentation, various aspects of quality assurance, reviewing requirements, and mentoring other programmers and testers.

In addition, you may be occasionally called on to work with an offshore programming group, monitoring progress, providing technical guidance, solving problems, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
